About Midway, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Midway, Kentucky is a small city found in Woodford County. While it is part of the Lexington-Fayette Metro Area, the city itself is only home to about 1,700 residents. Midway is located off of Interstate 64, and the city has recently completed major streetscape renovation a part of a project with Main Street Kentucky. New life was brought to this community, and now it is known for its distinctive downtown area with its bustling shops and eateries.

There are plenty of places to visit in this bustling community. Midway is home to some of the best restaurants in Central Kentucky, including Heirloom Restaurant, Goose and Gander Restaurant, The Midway Bakery, and Mezzo Italian Café. The community hosts many events throughout the year, such as Francisco’s Farm Arts Festival, the Midway Fall Festival, and the Midway Independence Day Celebration. Other popular places to visit in Midway include Equus Run Vineyards and one of the many shops in the community, like Breckinridge and The Back Room.

Varied weather patterns are common in Midway throughout the year. Some of the most extreme conditions occur during the summer months, when high temperatures and humidity levels push into the region. Central air conditioning is the preferred home cooling system in the area, especially when daily high temperatures reach the mid-80s during the peak of the season. The right central air conditioner will ensure that Midway residents enjoy cool temperatures indoors when the summer is at its hottest outdoors.

Winters in Midway are quite different from summertime conditions. Temperatures are moderately cold, although they tend to stay milder than other parts of the U.S. Average highs reach the low-40s during the peak of the season, but overnight thermostats often fall below freezing. While snowfall totals are low, it is still crucial that residents invest in a reliable electric or gas furnace to stay comfortable and safe throughout the season.
