About Richmond, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Richmond, Kentucky serves as the county seat of Madison County, and as of 2018, about 36,000 people resided here. This city is home to Eastern Kentucky University, and it serves as a shopping and employment center for the state’s south-central region. Richmond offers a vibrant downtown business district that includes many unique, Victorian-style structures, such as the famed Glyndon Hotel. The city is served by the local Madison County Public School System, which includes Madison Central High School, and there is also a lending library within the Madison County Public Library System found here.

Richmond is home to plenty of interesting things to see and do. There are many specialty shops and boutiques located here, including Adorabelles, Cotton Market, Cuff to Collar, and Greek Threads. Families will want to check out Adventure Falls Miniature Golf and Batting Cage Complex, while golf enthusiasts who want to play a real round should head to Battlefield Golf Course & Country Club or Boone’s Trace National Golf Club. The city is also popular for its wineries and craft breweries like Chenault Vineyards and Dreaming Creek Brewery.

The changing seasons offer very different weather conditions in Richmond. The summer is a great time to take advantage of outdoor recreation, but temperatures can be hot and very humid. Average daily high temperatures reach about 86 degrees Fahrenheit in July, so the right central air conditioner at home is a wise investment. Residents are encouraged to protect their climate control investment by scheduling regular system maintenance, which will lead to longer-lasting equipment.

Winter weather is still a great time to get outdoors due to the mild to moderately cold temperatures, but snowfall is limited. Average daily highs reach about 40 degrees throughout the season, but nighttime lows typically fall below freezing. Gas or electric furnace systems will keep indoor conditions comfortable throughout the season.
